Campagne Un million d’enfants prient le chapelet. Aujourd'hui, lundi le 18 octobre prochain à 19 h (en-ligne)
L’objectif de cette campagne de prière est la paix et l’unité dans le monde entier. C'est aussi une manière d’encourager les enfants à chercher de l’aide et un soutien auprès de Dieu dans les moments difficiles.
Au Canada, une activité aura lieu à 19 h en ligne, et ce, en français et en anglais.

- - - - - - - - - - - - One Million Children Pray the Rosary Campaign. Today, Monday, October 18 at 7 p.m. (online)
The goal of this prayer campaign is peace and unity throughout the world. It is also a way of encouraging children to seek help and support from God in difficult times.
In Canada, an online activity will be held at 7 p.m., in English and French.

Try Alpha Online
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. Each session looks at a different question and is designed to create conversation. There’s no pressure and no charge; it’s just an open, informal, and honest space to explore and discuss life’s big questions together.

A Presentation Specifically for Older Adults will Cover Topics Related to Aging & Mental Health
Presenter: Dr. Wendy Chiu, from the Geriatric Division, McGill University, will speak on the topic of aging and mental health. She is prepared to answer your questions and provide insight on what to expect, what you can do and how to cope with changes.
ST. EDMUND OF CANTERBURY PARISH
105 Beaconsfield Blvd. Beaconsfield, QC H9W 3Z8 Tuesday, October 26, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
Hosted by the Pillars Trust Fund the English Speaking Catholic Council this event will include a break to socialize with others over coffee, tea and cookies and reserve plenty of time to answer your questions.
The event will be held indoors with social distancing measures in place. Masks will be required while seated.

Full of humour, insight and theological consideration, this eight-part series will be enjoyed by dog and non-dog lovers alike.
Social Action Opportunities
- Walk in the Fr. John Walk of Hope with Nazareth Community, which supports men and women who struggle with their mental health, addictions, and homelessness.
The walk is scheduled for Sunday November 7th, 10:00 am, starting at Cabot Square, Montreal.

- The Laudato Si’ Action Platform is about to be launched throughout the world on November 14th.
Read about it, find ressources, and dream about how your parish might take part in it at Laudato Si' Action (laudatosiactionplatform.org).
Each group would create a 7 year plan, and if successful, would be awarded a certificate from the Vatican.
